Atlas — Employee Management

More people.
Less paperwork.
One source of truth.

Atlas runs your people operations end to end — from org structure and positions to leave, expenses and assets — all governed by your policies.

Self-service from admin to employee

Everyone sees exactly what they should.

One platform, four experiences, the right access for each — enforced in the app and in the database.

Org admin
Owns the tenant: plan, companies, users and org-wide settings.
HR team
Manages employee records and runs HR processes end to end.
Managers
See their team, approve requests, keep things moving.
Employees
Self-service for their own data, requests and assets — no HR ticket required.
Built for groups

Run a group of companies from a single system.

One organization can hold multiple legal companies that share org-level catalogs — units, departments, titles and projects — so you standardize once and scale cleanly, without a separate tool per entity. People move between entities and keep their history.

Trust & control

Governed by your policies.

HR-grade control by default — built so HR, finance and IT can rely on it.

Reusable approval chains
Define approval processes once and attach them per department and module — leave, expenses, advances and more.
Role-based access
Employees see their own; managers see their team; admins see everything. Enforced in the app and in the database.
Org-isolated data
Each organization's rows are separated by database-level row security, not just by application code.
Sensitive fields encrypted
Identity numbers, bank details and salary amounts are encrypted in the database with a key that never leaves the deployment.
Domain-gated sign-in
Each organization whitelists which email domains can log in, through Rakita single sign-on.
Effective-dated history
Positions and pay are kept as history, not overwritten — an accurate record for any date.
Use cases

From scattered spreadsheets to one system.

01

Onboard a new hire, end to end

Create the profile, assign the position and workweek plan, hand over the laptop from the warehouse, and route the paperwork through the right approvals — all in one place.

Outcome — a clean, complete record from day one, no spreadsheet handoffs.
02

Run leave without the back-and-forth

Employees request leave, managers approve through your policy, and the team calendar and balances update automatically — pending days included.

Outcome — less inbox ping-pong, fewer errors, a clear record for everyone.
03

Manage a multi-company group

Standardize departments, titles and projects across every legal company under one organization, and move people between them without losing their history.

Outcome — consistency across entities without a separate HR tool for each.
Switching from another HR tool

Bring your people data with you.

Atlas imports employees, positions, leave history, documents and assets from your current system, matches them to your org structure, and hands HR a list of anything it could not match — so the cut-over is a checklist, not a weekend.

Plan a migration
  1. 01
    Export
We pull employees, positions, leave, documents and assets from your current tool.
  2. 02
    Match
Records are mapped to your departments, titles and lookups. Unmatched rows go to HR as a spreadsheet.
  3. 03
    Verify
A dry run first — nothing is written until HR signs off on the report.
  4. 04
    Cut over
One final import on the agreed date. From then on, Atlas is the record.

All questions
What is Atlas?

Atlas is an HR platform — the single source of truth for your people: employee records, org structure, positions and pay, leave, expenses, assets and performance, all governed by your own policies. It is one of the products on the Rakita platform, built by PATH.

Who is Atlas for?

Organizations that want HR to run on one record instead of spreadsheets and inboxes: an HR team that owns the data, managers who approve requests, and employees who serve themselves. It scales from a single company to a group of legal entities under one organization.

Can one organization hold several companies?

Yes. An organization is the tenant; it can hold any number of legal companies that share org-level catalogs — units, departments, titles and projects — so a group standardizes once.

Can we move from our current HR tool?

Yes. We import employees, positions, leave history, documents and assets from your current system, match them to your org structure, and give HR a spreadsheet of anything that could not be matched. The import runs as a dry run first and writes nothing until you sign off.

Is our data isolated from other customers?

Yes, at the database level. Every tenant table carries a row-level security policy: a row is visible or writable only inside a transaction bound to your organization. Application code cannot reach across tenants even by mistake.

How much does Atlas cost?

Atlas Standard is $49 per month for up to 20 employees, with a 30-day free trial. Above 20 employees, Enterprise pricing is agreed per headcount. See the pricing page for details.

Give your team one source of truth.

Every employee, every record, every approval — in one HR platform, run by your policies.
